Since the Indiana Transportation Museum is operated almost entirely by
volunteers the best method to contact any department or project chairman
is through our office. Office hours are 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday
and the phone number is (317) 773 6000. If no one is in the office or
you call after hours a voicemail system will record any message you
would like to leave for us.
We do not handle any customer transactions in our business office in
Noblesville. If you need to meet personally with someone in the office
please call the office number for the address and directions.
Some messages are better conveyed in writing and can be sent to the
office at info@itm.org. If a written
message is best sent by postal mail then please address it to our
official mailing address:
Indiana Transportation Museum
PO Box 83
Noblesville, IN 46061-0083
Postal mail sent to any of our street addresses is likely to be lost or delivered to an
address other than ours. We may not be notified that we have mail at
another location until it is too late to respond in a timely manner.
The Museum is generally open only on weekends. When we are there
we can be reached at the train station/gift shop. The phone number there
is (317) 776 7887. Please bear in mind that the train station is
normally staffed by only one person who answers the phone when not
helping visitors to the Museum or riders waiting for train tickets.
The Museum is located inside Noblesville's Forest
Park. To visit the Museum (or any of our other locations when trains
are boarding there) please go to our page of links to interactive maps and click
on the correct location. For example, clicking on "Forest
Park" in this paragraph takes you to a map with a mark inside
Forest Park where we are actually located. This is the best way to find
us. Forest Park is rather easily located but we are somewhat hidden within
the
park.
By whatever means you try to contact us we consider every phone call,
email and
letter to be important and we strive to reply as quickly as possible.
