Atlanta, Indiana holds their giant New Earth Festival on the 4th weekend in September. The Indiana transportation Museum carries people to the festival from Noblesville's Forest Park both days and you can get details here. 

We add to the fun by providing short round-trips in restored freight cabooses between Main Street in the center of the festival into Tipton County to County Road 450 South.  Passengers get a 3 mile ride. Caboose trains depart about every 30 minutes (depending on passenger loads) beginning at 9:30AM and continuing to 4:30PM both days. Each trip takes about 20 minutes.

These short jaunts provide an ideal diversion for families with children who tire of all the shopping at the New Earth Festival. Atlanta's web site shows several photos of our caboose train in the gallery of 2010 photos.

SCHEDULE:
The train departs 
from Main Street 
about every 30 minutes 
from 9:30AM 
until 4:30PM

The fare to ride this train is:
$5.00 round-trip for everyone age 2 and up.

Seating on this train is OPEN - reservations are not needed and can not be made for this train.

We operate similar trains using cabooses on most Sundays, during the Noblesville Street Dance and First Fridays and at the Tipton Porkfest. We also run a similar train using air-conditioned coaches on Father's Day. Similar trips using coaches or cabooses are also available for charter for any event.

Please Note: Schedules are adhered to as closely as possible, but the railroad reserves the right to alter schedules, substitute coaches and/or motive power as operating conditions demand.  No refund or exchanges on reserved tickets unless ticketed train does not operate.
