Ride with us to the Fireworks in Cicero and enjoy convenient parking and less traffic in Forest Park!

The Town of Cicero will be celebrating July 4th with a parade and fireworks display and other great activities. More information on the festivities can be found HERE. The Fireworks Train can take you from Hobbs Station at the Museum in Forest Park to Cicero at three times on July 4th:

at 2:00 PM delivering passengers to Cicero in time for the parade at 3:30 and other daytime activities
at 5:00 PM in time for a picnic of your own food or food from the vendors in Cicero
at 8:00 PM for passengers that are mainly interested in the fireworks that begin about 10 PM

The train will return to the Museum about 30 minutes after the fireworks display concludes.

The train consist includes our stainless steel streamlined Budd coaches, built in1937 and '38 for the Santa Fe, pulled by our restored diesel locomotives.
