If your family is growing tired of the same old dinner on Saturday night, consider this:

• Visit a restaurant in a different locale.
• Make that locale the pleasant, small-town of Tipton, Indiana.
• Throw in an exciting ride on a historic railway!

Bring the whole family and ride with us. The evening of fun starts with a departure from the train museum in Noblesville's Forest Park. The ride to Tipton is approximately one hour.

We offer two ways to save you money on the price of your train tickets:
     The Family 4 Pak - Save $2 per ticket when you reserve seats for 2 adults AND 2 children ( 2 + 2 = 4 ).
     The Adult 4 Pak - Save $2 per ticket when you reserve seats for 4 adults.
To save using either "4 PAK" you must place your reservation by phone.  Call our office at (317) 773 6000 during office hours - 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday.

The offering at Jim Dandy is also a buffet featuring:

• A hot entree chosen weekly. It could be homemade Swiss steak, pot roast, breaded or grilled fish, broasted or grilled chicken and more.

Current prices are listed here but are subject to change due to economic conditions. The cost of dinner is separate from the train ride and does NOT include sales tax or gratuity!

Reservations are required! Passengers have two options to make reservations. The first is by calling the Museum's visitor services manager, who is reached by calling 317-773-6000, or by calling the Museum's gift shop at 317-776-7887. The days and hours for both are listed at the left. Reservations made via telephone must be 53 hours prior to the train's departure (noon on the Thursday prior to the Saturday excursion).

Reservations also can be made online by clicking the logo of the restaurant of your choice below. Online reservations close 72 hours prior to departure (5 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to the Saturday excursion).
