Noblesville is a big city but the area around the courthouse square maintains its small-town character through events held there. One event is the annual Street Dance held in July when the streets are closed on three sides of the square. A car show is held west of the square with food vendors in the streets north and east. A stage is placed in the northeast corner and musical acts perform. The area becomes packed with visitors.

The Indiana Transportation Museum adds to the fun by providing short round-trips in restored freight cabooses between the northwest corner of the square and 196th Street.  Caboose trains depart about every 30 minutes (depending on passenger loads) beginning at 5:30PM and continuing as long as the Street Dance lasts. Each trip takes about 20 minutes.

We operate similar trains using cabooses on most Sundays, during Noblesville's First Friday's, at the Tipton Pork Festival and at the Atlanta New Earth Festival.  We also run a similar train using air-conditioned coaches on Father's Day.

Similar trips using coaches or cabooses are also available for charter for any event.

Please Note: Schedules are adhered to as closely as possible, but the railroad reserves the right to alter schedules, substitute coaches and/or motive power as operating conditions demand.  No refund or exchanges on reserved tickets unless ticketed train does not operate.
